Adafruit Digital RGB LED Weatherproof Strip - LPD8806 32 LED 5m

These LED strips offer a dazzling array of possibilities with 32 individually addressable RGB LEDs per meter. Featuring digitally-addressable technology, each LED's red, green, and blue components are adjustable with 21-bit color precision, courtesy of 7-bit PWM per channel, thanks to the built-in LPD8806 chip.

Installation and customization are simple, with flexible PCB material and weatherproof sheathing, allowing you to easily cut the strip at designated 2.5"/6.2cm intervals. Each strip operates with merely two digital output pins, and the integrated PWM Controller ensures the strip maintains its settings without continuous microcontroller input.

Powering these strips is efficient with a 5V DC power supply, keeping in mind not to exceed 6V to avoid damage. Options include a 5V/2A supply for smaller projects and a 5V/10A supply capable of handling up to 5 meters or more, depending on LED usage. The strips come with a 4-pin JST SM connector on each end and are available in 5-meter reels or by the meter.

For seamless connectivity, additional JST SM plug and receptacle cables are recommended. Ensure to verify input and output directions by checking the strip's directional arrows and pin labeling.
