Adafruit PCA9548 8-Channel STEMMA QT / Qwiic I2C Multiplexer

The Adafruit PCA9548 8 Channel STEMMA QT / Qwiic I2C Multiplexer solves the common challenge of connecting multiple I2C devices with the same address to a single microcontroller. This versatile tool functions as a gatekeeper, directing commands to the selected I2C port as per your instructions.

The multiplexer operates on I2C address 0x70, adjustable up to 0x77 via jumpers, and facilitates the use of up to eight same-address devices. By incorporating multiple multiplexers, control of up to 64 same-I2C-address components is achievable. The board features eight JST SH 1mm connectors and includes a practical 3.3V, 500mA regulator to handle power and logic level shifting.

With compatibility for Qwiic and STEMMA QT setups, the PCA9548 multiplexer integrates effortlessly into existing systems. Features such as breadboard breakout pins, a connectivity indicator LED, and mounting holes enhance its adaptability and ease of use.
