Adafruit DHT11 basic temperature-humidity sensor + extras

The DHT11 is a cost-effective digital temperature and humidity sensor with a capacitive humidity sensor and thermistor. It delivers digital signals on the data pin without needing analog input pins. Timing is crucial for capturing data effectively.

This sensor updates every 2 seconds. Though it is less precise than the DHT22 and operates in a narrower range, it is more compact and budget-friendly. An ideal choice for applications where simplicity and cost are prioritized over precision.

It comes with a 4.7K or 10K resistor for use as a pullup from the data pin to VCC, and is supported by the Adafruit Learning System, which includes schematics, Arduino & CircuitPython code, and datasheets to assist in your projects.
