Adafruit PIR (motion) sensor

PIR sensors efficiently detect motion from pets and humanoids at a distance of up to 20 feet—potentially even zombies, though not guaranteed. With adjustable delay and sensitivity, this versatile device can be tailored to your exact needs.

The package includes a 1-foot (30 cm) cable with a socket for easy repositioning, and mounting is a breeze with holes on either side of the sensor. Designed to operate on a 5V-12V power supply, it can be adjusted to run at 3V with some soldering to bypass the regulator.
