Adafruit ChromaTek 19mm Rugged Momentary Metal Pushbutton with NeoPixel

Experience enhanced durability with our chrome-plated metal buttons, now featuring a full-color NeoPixel LED ring. Crafted for resilience without compromising style, these 19mm Momentary RGB pushbuttons effortlessly blend into your projects.

Installation is straightforward: drill a 19mm hole in materials up to 0.45" thick and secure them with an included rubber gasket to ensure water resistance. The front boasts a flat metal actuator encircled by a vibrant RGB LED ring.

Powering the NeoPixel LED is simple. Use +5V, ground, and a NeoPixel signal line—a less complex alternative to separate RGB LED wiring. Its chainable signal allows for synchronized lighting effects across multiple switches on one panel.

The button offers both normally-open and normally-closed contacts and is designed with a detachable 7-wire cable harness for hassle-free wiring. The button and LED are electrically separated, requiring a microcontroller to manage color changes through contact pins and NeoPixel control.
