The absolute pressure sensor, ST LPS25HB, measures atmospheric pressure effectively, helping to determine weather conditions or altitude. At sea level, pressure is typically 1013.25 hPa, and this sensor allows for comparison with current pressure.
With a measurement range of 260-1260 hPa and 24-bit data, it provides precise readings up to 25 times per second. Accuracy within 0.2 hPa after calibration ensures reliable data.
Mounted on a breakout board with level shifting circuitry and voltage regulator, it supports 3.3V and 5V logic levels, compatible with Raspberry Pi or Arduino. The SparkFun Qwiic-compatible STEMMA QT connectors facilitate easy connectivity without soldering.
Accompanied by Arduino and CircuitPython libraries, along with example code, setting up and coding are simplified. Suitable QT cables are available separately for seamless sensor integration.
