The Alchitry Pt V2 is powered by the Xilinx Artix-7 FPGA, making it ideal for ambitious projects. It includes a substantial 101,440 logic cells, significantly more than its predecessor, and offers 206 IO pins, nearly double the previous model. With 240 dedicated DSP48E1 slices, it's perfect for handling demanding computational tasks. Additionally, it provides 4,860 Kb of Block RAM, supporting complex applications such as real-time signal processing and high-speed communication.
Part of the modular Alchitry ecosystem, the Pt V2 can stack with expansion boards known as "Elements" to enhance functionality with prototyping spaces, buttons, LEDs, and more. To ensure a proper physical connection with its high-speed connectors, a Br, Fn, or Sp Element is required when connecting to an Ft, Ft+, or Hd board. This setup prevents the connectors from contacting capacitors on the bottom of the Pt.
