Adafruit UPDI Friend - USB Serial UPDI Programmer

The Unusually Playful Device Interfacer is an innovative tool for programming modern ATtiny chips. It offers the flexibility of 3V or 5V power and logic select, along with power and data activity LEDs for easy monitoring of operations. Designed to enhance efficiency, it features a CH340E USB Serial converter chip compatible with cross-platform drivers.

The included JST SH cable allows quick and simple connections to a breadboard, while the USB Type C port facilitates seamless data and power connection to any computer. Equipped with a 1K loop-back resistor between RX and TX, this device guarantees efficient and reliable programming.

The board's compact design and 0.1" spaced breakout holes ensure that it fits easily into custom setups. Backed by open-source hardware design inspiration, it is highly compatible with Arduino IDE when using the megaTinyCore board package, supporting baud rates of 230Kbps and 56Kbps.
