This charger is the only solution you need to keep all your Lithium Polymer (LiPoly) or Lithium Ion (LiIon) rechargeable batteries topped up, regardless of the power source at hand. The Adafruit Universal USB / DC / Solar Lithium Ion/Polymer Charger seamlessly connects to USB, DC, or Solar power, accommodating a versatile 5-10V input voltage range.

The intelligent charger chip gradually reduces the current draw if the input voltage dips below 4.5V, making it an effective near-MPPT solar charger. Beyond solar capabilities, it efficiently serves as a USB or DC charger, compatible with 5V or 9V chargers, and excels with a high charge rate for quick charging.

Perfect for solar projects, simply connect a 3.7V/4.2V LiIon battery via a 2-pin JST PH cable and a 6V solar panel through a 2.1mm adapter cable. Position the solar panel in sunlight while keeping the battery cool. Power additional projects simultaneously using the regulated LOAD output, ensuring voltage remains below 4.4V.
