The Adafruit ADXL375 High G Accelerometer is a cutting-edge ±200g 3-axis sensor designed for precise motion capture. It detects up to 200 g's of force across X, Y, and Z axes, making it perfect for high-impact applications.
With flexible digital interfacing options via I2C or SPI, integration into any project is seamless. The sensor features built-in motion detection for easy shock detection implementation. Two interrupt pins allow for independent mapping of interrupts.
Its design mirrors the ADXL345 and ADXL343 but is fixed at 200g, eliminating adjustable ranges for specialized tasks. Compatible library code ensures smooth transition and use with Arduino, CircuitPython, and more, with only a scaling adjustment needed.
Housed on a breakout board with necessary support circuitry and connectors, the sensor is user-friendly. It includes STEMMA QT compatible connectors for a solder-free, straightforward setup. Simply use a STEMMA QT adapter cable to connect to your microcontroller or Blinka-supported device.
Available both in Arduino and CircuitPython libraries, the accelerometer works with various microcontrollers such as Arduino, ESP8266, Metro, or Raspberry Pi. Each order provides a tested and assembled breakout alongside a 9-pin 0.1" standard header for breadboard or perfboard compatibility, complete with four 2.5mm mounting holes. Setup is quick, getting you operational in under 5 minutes.
