Experiencing difficulties with your touch screen's performance? Resistive touch screens are quite popular as overlays to TFT and LCD displays, but they require multiple analog pins and continuous polling. The TSC2007 breakout board offers an efficient solution with its user-friendly I2C interface.
This board comes equipped with a 3V voltage regulator and level shifting for compatibility with both 3V and 5V logic. It features an interrupt pin to notify your microcontroller when a touch is detected, ensuring smoother operation than traditional methods, like using an Arduino for readings.
Easily integrate screens with 1mm pitch FPC cables directly into the connector, or use 0.1" pitch breakouts for other types. The TSC2007 libraries for Arduino, CircuitPython, and Raspberry Pi make setup straightforward, with libraries enabling instant reading of X, Y, and Z (pressure) points.
The board includes an IRQ pin to minimize I2C polling and a red LED for debugging, illuminating on contact. This functionality ensures precise and stable readings, enhancing the performance of medium to large touchscreens efficiently.
