The Adafruit NeoRGB Stemma board transforms complexity into simplicity with its plug-and-play convenience. With a 2mm JST PH connector on one end and a 5-pin 0.1" screw terminal block on the other, soldering becomes obsolete.
This board adapts a standard 3-5V 800KHz NeoPixel signal using a WS2811F chip, driving efficiency through AO3406 N-channel FETs. Each FET can handle up to 3 Amps with only 50milliOhm Ron, making it suitable for any PWM-controlled common-anode RGB LED strip or LED.
The board supports a power range of 3-16V, easily handling diverse LED configurations, even extending to non-RGB setups like 3 independent single-channel LEDs.
For power management, it offers two connection options. Under 2A, use the JST PH connector, and over 2A, switch to the terminal block. It ensures seamless integration with microcontrollers, thanks to intuitive wiring instructions.
Monitoring is straightforward with an onboard green LED indicating power status, and a red LED blinking when data is transmitted. It includes an output pin for daisy-chaining multiple units or linking additional NeoPixels.
