Adafruit NeoPixel Shield - 40 RGBW - Natural White

Put on your sunglasses before putting this shield onto your 'duino. With 40 eye-blistering RGBW LEDs adoring the NeoPixel shield, you're in for a blast of configurable color. Set in a 5x8 matrix, each pixel is individually addressable, and you'll only need one pin (Digital #6) to manage all the LEDs. If customization is essential, cut a trace and utilize nearly any pin you desire.

This is the Natural White RGBW version, with options available in Warm White, Cool White, and classic RGB. The NeoPixel is split, featuring the familiar RGB and a white LED with a yellow phosphor. Lit up, they are intensely bright, controllable with 8-bit PWM per channel, delivering a vibrant 32-bit color overall.

The ideal choice for infusing your project with colorful and white dots. By default, the 5V onboard Arduino supply powers the LEDs, and if you need external power, simply solder in the included terminal block. Whether you're sticking to Arduino's power or switching to a 4-6VDC external supply, we ensure compatibility and flexibility.

For enthusiasts needing more blinky, chain these shields together effortlessly. Connect the second shield's DIN to the first's DOUT, any ground pin, and supply with 5V. While chaining is unlimited, note that using five or more shields might stretch RAM if you're on an UNO. Flexible in its assembly, the shield includes both stacking and plain headers for either functionality or a sleek finish.
