So thin. So mini. So teeeeeny-tiny. It's the 'skinny' version of our classic NeoPixel strips! These NeoPixel strips feature 60 digitally-addressable Mini LEDs per meter, with a slender profile measuring just 7.5 mm wide, or 5 mm without the casing.
The strips operate on approximately 9.5 Watts max (~2 Amps @ 5V) per meter when displaying full white light. A robust power supply, like our 5V 2A or 5V 10A options, is essential for optimal performance. What sets these pixels apart is the integrated controller chip inside each LED, requiring just one pin each for input and output.
Perfectly suited for Arduino Uno, Mega, or other microcontrollers with 100nS timing precision, these LEDs allow for brilliant customization. Note that devices like Basic Stamp and NETduino won't work with this strip due to timing constraints but our DotStar digital LED strips are an alternative for those.
With 60 RGB LEDs per meter, each LED can be individually controlled and offers 24-bit color thanks to 8-bit PWM precision. For extended usage, strips can be easily shortened or lengthened. They come equipped with weatherproof sheathing and flexible PCB material for versatile applications.
Each meter can be powered using a 5V power supply, and for longer lengths, our 5V/10A supply is suggested. The NeoPixel strips are sold by the meter, and multiple meters will be provided in full reels equipped with JST SM connectors.
