The Adafruit LED Arcade Button 1x4 QT I2C Breakout transforms your projects with four vibrant, glowing arcade buttons, all seamlessly controlled via I2C. Its compact 3" x 0.8" PCB hosts 8 JST XH sockets, ensuring easy integration with arcade buttons featuring built-in LED illuminators.
The board is pre-programmed with seesaw firmware, offering efficient button press registration and LED PWM control through I2C. This allows for connectivity across any platform using a STEMMA QT (Qwiic) connector. Benefit from enhanced customization by chaining multiple boards together—up to 16 on a single I2C bus!
The included boost converter ensures optimal LED illumination at 5V, regardless of your microcontroller’s voltage. With versatile usage options, the breakout fits comfortably onto a breadboard, featuring dual rows of 6-pin contacts on a 0.1" grid for easy soldering and mechanical stability.
Enhance your control interface with Arduino and CircuitPython/Python library support, simplifying the creation of luminous button displays using any compatible microcontroller or computer. Please note, a microcontroller is required for operation, and LED arcade buttons along with JST XH quick connect cables are sold separately.
