Adafruit 2.9" Tri-Color eInk / ePaper Display FeatherWing

Easy e-paper integration comes to your Feather with this breakout, designed for effortless addition of a tri-color eInk display. Featuring a 2.9" display with red, black, and white colors and a resolution of 296x128 pixels, this module offers high contrast and daylight readability, akin to printed paper.

The FeatherWing supports all Feather boards, from ESP8266 to M0, and includes a built-in memory buffer compatible with chips as compact as '32u4 and '328. It requires 3 SPI pins and up to 4 control pins, with 3 optional buttons available for further interactivity.

An onboard SRAM chip simplifies data handling, eliminating the need for frame-buffering and allowing seamless data transfer to the eInk display. Our CircuitPython or Arduino libraries make setup straightforward, turning this module into an Adafruit_GFX compatible display. A MicroSD socket provides additional storage for images and text, enhancing display versatility.

The package arrives assembled and tested, complete with socket headers for easy connection to your Feather—no soldering necessary.
