The Adafruit Feather RP2040 SCORPIO is engineered to handle extensive NeoPixel driving with ease. It leverages the 'PIO' peripheral of the RP2040 from Raspberry Pi for flawlessly controlling large quantities of LEDs without taxing the main processor.

RP2040's PIO state machine generates impeccable waveforms on up to 8 outputs concurrently, utilizing DMA so your main code can multitask seamlessly. The SCORPIO ensures glitch-free NeoPixel operation with a 3V to 5V level shifter.

Versatile in its applications, it can repurpose the 8 I/O pins as inputs for tasks like constructing a logic analyzer. With a bulky 264KB of RAM, you can effortlessly buffer thousands of NeoPixels, even for detailed brightness control.

Designed with the Feather pinout, it offers multiple interfaces: I2C, SPI, and UART lines. It includes built-in features such as a lipoly charger, user button, and convenient connectors like USB Type C and STEMMA QT.
