Adafruit DotStar LED Strip - Cool White - 144 LED/m

DotStar LED strips offer an exciting upgrade with a faster data transfer via generic 2-wire SPI and a higher PWM refresh rate for reduced flickering. These features make them perfect for applications requiring smooth light transitions, like Persistence-of-Vision effects.

Each strip encompasses 144 LEDs per meter, housed on a flexible white PCB with a weatherproof sheath. The phosphor diffuses the light from the 3 white dies, providing a consistently bright Cool White illumination that outshines traditional RGB mixes.

Unlike NeoPixels, DotStars utilize separate clock and data pins, allowing seamless operation with any microcontroller or processor, including Arduino, Raspberry Pi, and BeagleBone. Transmit data at speeds up to 32MHz, with no need for precise timing—ideal for complex projects.
