Adafruit Bonsai Buckaroo - micro:bit & CLUE Plant Care Helper

This add-on board is perfect for enhancing your micro:bit or CLUE setup with plant care capabilities. Attach it using 5 screws to utilize a buzzer, motor driver, and breakouts for soil sensor connections. Designed for simplicity and efficiency, it brings technology right into your gardening efforts.

The 8mm buzzer/speaker on pin P0 can alert you when plants need water or play a melody when they are thriving. The 3V motor control on pin P2 allows for easy connection to a water pump, enabling automatic watering when plants are dry. By using the alligator clip pads on pin P1, 3V, and GND, you can measure soil resistance with just clips and nails.

This board supports various programming environments: micro:bit can utilize Arduino, MicroPython, or MakeCode while CLUE boards are compatible with CircuitPython or Arduino. Note that the product is strictly the control board and does not include additional components like pumps, clips, or nails, which need to be purchased separately.
