Easy e-paper integration for microcontrollers is now possible with this purpose-designed breakout for adding eInk displays effortlessly. Featuring a 1.54" monochrome display with a high resolution of 200x200 pixels, it offers a superior and fast updating experience compared to tri-color alternatives. The high contrast ensures excellent daylight readability, akin to traditional print.
With the included CircuitPython and Arduino libraries, microcontroller memory constraints are no longer a concern. The integrated SRAM chip shares the SPI port with the display, negating the need for extensive frame-buffering and conserving precious memory resources. Interface effortlessly with the library, mimicking an Adafruit_GFX compatible display.
For power efficiency, an onboard 3.3V regulator with an Enable pin allows you to control power to the SRAM and display. A MicroSD socket provides additional storage capacity for images and text files. Embrace flexibility with 3 or 5V logic safety and an 18-pin EYESPI connector for solder-free connections.
