Adafruit 8x8 Trellis Feather M4 Acrylic Enclosure + Hardware Kit

A super-specifically-laser-cut enclosure transforms your 8x8 Trellis into a handheld light and music maker. Elevate any interface with a sleek black and white design enhanced by beautifully diffused colorful buttons. This enclosure is perfect for MIDI instruments, control panels, and other projects needing a vibrant upgrade.

This package contains only the plastic enclosure and hardware. Completing the setup requires:

• 1 x Adafruit Feather mainboard (excluding FONA)
• 4 x Adafruit NeoTrellis RGB Driver PCB for 4x4 Keypad
• 4 x Silicone Elastomer 4x4 Button Keypad
• Optional: 4-pin JST cable for simplified wiring
• 1 x Lithium Ion Polymer Battery - 3.7v 500mAh for portability
• 1 x Mini Panel Mount DPDT Toggle Switch

Assembly involves light soldering, specifically for wiring to the switch and Feather. The set includes:

• 1 x Black Acrylic Cutout 1.5mm thick
• 14 x Clear Acrylic Cutouts 3mm thick
• Various screws, spacers, nuts, and standoffs for secure assembly
• 1 set of Little Rubber Bumper Feet (4 bumpers total)

Acrylic cutouts are protected with paper backings, requiring removal before assembly. This enclosure pairs well with CircuitPython using an nRF52840 or M4 Feather, or with any Feather board for Arduino applications, except FONA.
