The 7-segment LED backpacks, now available without the LEDs, feature the HT16K33 I2C LED driver for seamless integration. Utilize our efficient library to display numbers on the screen within 30 minutes.

A perfect alternative to complex matrix displays, each backpack can be stacked or daisy-chained up to eight units using shared I2C connections, simply adjust the address jumpers.

This design maintains the classic size and pinout while introducing dual STEMMA QT connectors, supporting solderless connections with SparkFun Qwiic I2C cables for effortless linking with a suite of sensors.

Shipped as a fully tested, assembled LED backpack with a 4-pin header, some soldering is required for breadboard use. Displays are sold separately; compatibility is ensured with displays from our selection only.
