Adafruit 8 MHz Crystal + 20pF capacitors

Keep your microcontroller tickin' with a top-notch timing crystal. This 8.000 MHz model is housed in an HC49/US 'short style' standard package, making it perfect for breadboard setups and easily compatible with any microcontroller or device requiring an external crystal.

Accompanied by two 20pF capacitors, this crystal offers excellent precision with 30PPM tolerance and 50PPM stability, ideal for applications needing high accuracy such as USB timing, long-term timekeeping, and RF/PLL/VCO driving.

To integrate, simply connect the two pins to XTAL-in and XTAL-out on your circuit. The symmetric design allows flexibility with pin choice. Each crystal pin needs to be connected to ground through a capacitor. Verify your microcontroller datasheet to determine if a 1 Megaohm resistor or additional components are needed.
