Seamlessly create vibrant visual displays with the Medium 16x32 RGB LED matrix panel, featuring a precise 6mm pitch. This innovative panel simplifies the complexities of large matrix displays through its six 8x8 red matrix modules, resulting in a comprehensive 16x24 matrix configuration.
Equipped with the HT1632C chip, it efficiently manages multiplexing and leverages a 3-pin SPI-like serial interface, ensuring straightforward communication for setting each LED on or off. While this panel does not support individual LED dimming, users can adjust the overall brightness and implement a 1 Hz blink feature across the entire display.
The design supports chainability, allowing connection of up to 8 panels for an extended display. It arrives assembled and includes a 10-pin IDC cable, ready for integration. A microcontroller is necessary for operation—our reference guide recommends an Arduino, although many models with 3 digital output pins are compatible.
When connecting multiple displays, additional cables are required beyond the two included. Comprehensive instructions, along with a dedicated Arduino library, facilitate display control and integration of chained displays, presenting them as one continuous matrix. The library enables drawing of pixels, lines, rectangles, circles, and text, enabling luminous setups within 15 minutes.
