Adafruit 16mm Illuminated Pushbutton - Green Momentary

A button is a button, and an LED is an LED, but this LED-illuminated button is a lovely combination of both!

This medium-sized button is large enough to press easily, but not so big that it disrupts your project panel. It features a built-in LED that can be controlled separately from the switch action, allowing it to serve as an indicator or simply add aesthetic value.

The button's body is made of black plastic, housing the green LED inside. There are two contacts for the button and two for the LED, with one marked + and one marked -. The forward voltage of the LED is around 2.2V, so connecting a 220 to 1000 ohm resistor in series to your 3V or higher power supply is recommended.

This particular button is momentary and normally open, meaning the two switch contacts are disconnected until the button is pressed temporarily. Additionally, the LED is independent of the button, enabling versatile lighting configurations such as glowing when pressed, glowing when not pressed, or remaining perpetually lit.
