Adafruit 1.8" Color TFT LCD display with MicroSD Card Breakout

This lovely little display breakout offers a compact, vibrant display solution for any project. The 1.8" true TFT display provides stunning 128x160 pixel resolution, delivering 262,144 shades of full 18-bit color thanks to the reliable ST7735R driver. Unlike CSTN displays, this TFT ensures sharp visuals and a swift refresh rate.

With 4-wire SPI communication and a dedicated pixel-addressable frame buffer, this display can be seamlessly integrated with any microcontroller, even those with minimal memory and pins. The included ultra-low-dropout 3.3V regulator and 3/5V level shifter ensure compatibility with both 3.3V and 5V systems.

Enhancing its functionality, the breakout board includes a convenient microSD card holder for easy loading of full-color bitmaps from a FAT16/FAT32 formatted card. For hassle-free connectivity, the display features an 18-pin EYESPI standard FPC connector, eliminating the need for soldering when using a compatible 0.5mm pitch FPC cable.

To simplify your development process, an open-source graphics library is provided, capable of rendering pixels, lines, rectangles, circles, text, and bitmaps. Sample code and a detailed wiring tutorial are available, primarily designed for Arduino but easily adaptable for any microcontroller of your choice.
