LED driver for 10W LEDs or 3 x 3W LEDs in series. This driver operates on a voltage of 12V to 24V and converts this to a voltage of 9V to 11V with a current of 850mA.
12 V - 24 V
Question and answer
QThibautCan I mount 6 10w LED chips in parallel to this module.ViewHide1 answer | Answer this question
AOpencircuitNo, the LED driver does not have sufficient power for this. You need 1 driver per LED.
QVan PoortvlietCan the driver also be controlled with pwm?ViewHide1 answer | Answer this question
AOpencircuitUnfortunately not, this driver can only be switched on or off.
QRob KouwenbergCan the 10W LED driver also handle 9 x LED 1W in series?ViewHide2 answers | Answer this question
AOpencircuitUnfortunately not, the combined voltage drop of 9 x 1W LEDs is at least around 18V, this is much more than the 9V that the module generates.
AAce HolleThis driver can control one 10-watt power LED. Note The amperage that is 0.700 mA. A number of 1 watt power LEDs of which the amperage becomes too large, eg 4 x 1 watt power LEDs, cannot handle this driver. It burns through. The amperage is too large .... above 1000 mA is really too much.
