Adafruit USB to Multi-Protocol Serial Cable - RS-232 / TTL UART / RS-485

No matter what serial protocol you need to interface with, this USB to Multi-Protocol Serial adapter cable seamlessly connects devices. It supports RS232 serial, TTL UART serial, RS485, and RS422, each equipped with easy-to-use screw terminals. Eliminate the need for soldering; just open the terminal with a Phillips screwdriver, insert your wire, and plug into a USB A or C port.

At the core is an FTDI FT231 USB to serial converter delivering 5V logic. Enjoy signal rates from 300 baud to 3 Mbaud, thanks to extensive FTDI driver support across major operating systems. For RS-232, it includes a UM213 signal level converter with +-8V logic, supporting up to 250kbps. The UART connections feature directly exposed RX/TX and 5V/3V/GND.
