It operates with ultra-low power, drawing just 20mA during tracking, and supports 3.3V operations. The built-in datalogging and PPS output provide added functionality for versatile applications. The module remains reliable even at altitudes up to approximately 32Km, with potential up to 40Km.
Equipped with an internal patch antenna, it also offers a connection for an external active antenna, effortlessly switching detection. Its ultra-small footprint measures just 16mm x 16mm x 6.4mm, fitting snugly into any setup needing rapid and high-sensitivity satellite communication.
The MTK3333 chipset forms the module's core, tracking up to 33 satellites on 99 channels, ensuring superb sensitivity and high-speed tracking. The module is designed for efficient power usage, maintaining only ~29 mA during navigation.
Noteworthy features include the versatile external antenna functionality and built-in datalogging capability. A standard ceramic patch antenna ensures exceptional -165 dBm sensitivity, while an active GPS antenna attachable via a uFL connector enhances capabilities further.
