Description

The DFRobot TS01 IR temperature sensor is a non-contact thermal sensor designed to measure the infrared intensity of objects, allowing for accurate surface temperature calculations without direct contact. Its all-metal package provides robust protection against impact, water, and dust, ensuring durability and reliability in various environments.

This sensor features built-in temperature compensation, significantly enhancing its measurement accuracy compared to similar products. It offers stable output data and is factory calibrated across a wide temperature range. With an operational range of -40℃ to 85℃, the sensor can measure temperatures from -70℃ to 380℃ with a maximum accuracy of 0.5°C.

An integrated optical filter, which cuts off visible and near-infrared radiant flux, provides immunity to ambient light and sunlight. The sensor's narrow field of view of just 5 degrees allows it to measure temperatures from a heat source with a diameter of 10 cm at a maximum distance of 116 cm, making it a precise tool for various thermal measurement applications.
