SparkFun USB-C Breakout - Vertical

The USB-C breakout board offers a convenient way to integrate a vertical USB-C connector into your projects without the hassle of soldering each tiny SMD pad. Its vertical orientation is ideal for panel mounting, making it a versatile addition to any electronic setup.

This breakout board provides up to three times the power compared to previous USB breakouts (Type-A, micro-B, and mini-B). The reversible design eliminates the common frustration of incorrect USB cable insertion. It breaks out the USB-C connector's VBUS, GND, CC1, CC2, D+, D-, and SHLD pins into a 2.54mm pitch header, delivering up to a nominal 1.5A of power and up to 3A depending on the upstream device.
