SparkFun Qwiic Shield for Photon

The SparkFun Qwiic Shield for Photon is a versatile and easy-to-assemble board designed to seamlessly integrate the Qwiic Connect System with your Particle Photon. This shield links the I²C bus on your Photon to an array of SparkFun Qwiic connectors. The Qwiic system supports daisy chaining, enabling you to stack multiple sensors to create a powerful sensing tower, provided your devices have different addresses.

The Qwiic Shield boasts four Qwiic connection ports, all linked to the same I²C bus. It also features a small prototyping area for you to design and create your own unique circuits. Additionally, the shield comes with 3-pin buses for ground and 3.3V to assist with prototyping.

Note: This shield comes with Photon stackable headers. However, they are not pre-soldered onto the board, so you will need to assemble the shield yourself.

The SparkFun Qwiic Connect System is an ecosystem of I²C sensors, actuators, shields, and cables designed to make prototyping faster and less prone to error. All Qwiic-enabled boards use a common 1mm pitch, 4-pin JST connector, which minimizes the required PCB space. The polarized connections ensure that you can't connect it incorrectly.
