The micro:climate kit contains everything you need to transform your micro:bit into a full-fledged weather sensor. The only additional parts required are two AAA batteries, a microSD card, and the micro:bit itself. Once you've added your micro:bit to the provided weather:bit and assembled the kit, you're ready to start monitoring the weather. Please note, however, that the kit does not include a micro:bit board, which must be purchased separately. You will also need a microSD card for data logging and AAA batteries for remote power.
This kit doesn't require any soldering, making it accessible to anyone interested in weather-sensing technology or the micro:bit platform. The micro:bit is a pocket-sized computer that allows you to get creative with digital technology. With the micro:bit and our shield-like bit boards, you can code, customize, and control your micro:bit from almost anywhere. Its compact size, half that of a credit card, opens up a world of possibilities for unique creations, from robots to musical instruments and more.
The SparkFun micro:climate kit is a great way to immerse yourself in high-grade sensors without getting your feet wet – that's the job of the weather:bit! It's a perfect tool for anyone interested in exploring the potential of micro:bit while learning about weather patterns and their impact on the environment.
