Perfect for developers and hobbyists, this module enables precise navigation and surveying tasks. Whether you're building a robotic system or conducting field surveys, the pHAT's high precision and compact design make it a versatile addition to your toolkit. With millimeter-level accuracy, it ensures reliable data collection even in challenging environments.
At the core of this system is the Septentrio mosaic-G5, a receiver that provides the same high performance as larger models but in a significantly smaller and more energy-efficient package. It offers 6mm horizontal and 1cm vertical accuracy with Real-Time Kinematic (RTK) and features advanced interference mitigation to protect against jamming and spoofing.
The IM19 IMU enhances the module's capabilities by combining MEMS sensor data with GNSS RTK positioning, providing high-precision attitude measurements. This integration allows for tilt-compensated surveying and continuous navigation through dead reckoning, even in urban or obstructed environments.
Designed for advanced users, the mosaic-G5 offers flexible protocols and sophisticated software tools for configuration and monitoring. It supports industry-standard NMEA and RTCM formats and includes interfaces for hardware UARTs, GPIO pins, and PPS outputs. The pre-configured fusion ensures seamless integration between GNSS and IMU data for accurate position and attitude output.
An external multi-band antenna is required to use this product effectively. The GNSS Flex module features a U.FL connector for antenna connection, and for a more robust setup, an SMA connector is also provided. This flexibility ensures compatibility with a range of antennas to suit various project needs.
