Adafruit SMT Test Socket - TQFP-48 Breakout

These test sockets offer a solution similar to ZIF sockets for SMT parts, facilitating the programming and testing of TQFP-48 packages. Ideal for chips in a 7mm square body, they ensure a secure hold with their gold 'fingers' contact mechanism.

The socket, once soldered onto the accompanying PCBs, transforms into a 48-pin DIP with 0.6" spacing, allowing for easy breadboarding. Note: there is a pin alignment difference with the QFP chip.
