This SMT Test Socket - SOIC-28 Wide Breakout is a reliable solution for programming and testing SMT parts just like a ZIF socket for DIP chips. Suitable for any SOIC/SOP "Medium" chip up to 20 pins and 200mil wide.

With its secure gold contact system, it ensures stable connectivity. Simply press the top, insert the chip, and release to latch it securely. Not compatible with 150 or 300mil wide chips; alternatives are available for narrow/wide SOICs.
