Adafruit Small 1.2" 8x8 Ultra Bright Square Blue LED Matrix + Backpack

Experience the brilliance of multiple LEDs without the clutter. Our LED matrix backpacks simplify the process of controlling LED displays with their efficient design. Perfectly compatible with matrices from our shop, these backpacks are available in three sizes: a mini 0.7" 8x8, a small 1.2" 8x8, and a 4-digit 0.56" 7-segment.

Each matrix backpack utilizes a driver chip that handles multiplexing, equipped with a built-in clock for seamless operation. Constant-current drivers ensure ultra-bright and consistent color display with 1/16 step dimming, all through an easy-to-use I2C interface. Moreover, three address-selection jumpers enable you to connect up to eight devices on a single I2C bus.

The kit includes a fully tested and assembled 1.2" LED backpack, a 1.2" 8x8 Matrix Square Pixel in blue, and a 4-pin header. Only minimal soldering is required for attachment, making it a user-friendly setup.
