Adafruit SIM808 GSM + GPRS + GPS Cellular Module

The SIM808 GSM GPRS Module is a compact powerhouse that seamlessly integrates global connectivity and GPS tracking into your design, without needing a full breakout. This hand-solderable component is ideal for custom builds requiring cellular communication capabilities and GPS data.

Access global GSM networks with quad-band 850/900/1800/1900MHz frequencies and any 2G SIM. The module's fully-integrated GPS, powered by the MT3336 chipset, offers robust tracking sensitivity at -165 dBm, ensuring reliable geo-location data. The GPS system features 22 tracking and 66 acquisition channels with an accuracy of approximately 2.5 meters.

Voice communications are enabled using a headset or a 32Ω speaker paired with an electret microphone. Connect and interact with SMS and GPRS data (including TCP/IP and HTTP protocols) effortlessly. Additional features include PWM and buzzer vibrational motor control.

AT command interface supports "auto baud" detection, making it highly adaptable to various systems. Please be aware that integrating this module requires additional circuitry, such as antennas, power regulation, and any relevant level shifting components.
