Adafruit Red 7-segment clock display - 0.39" digit height

This 4-digit seven-segment display is a versatile component for your next engineering project. Designed for clear numeric output, it features four distinct 7-segment displays with decimal points and center colon-dots, ideal for clock and countdown displays.

Enhancing usability, it also includes a top right-hand dot for displaying temperature degrees. With an ultra-bright output at 160mcd, it offers flexibility in power consumption, either optimizing for energy efficiency or maximizing brightness up to 20mA.

Its multiplexed, common-cathode design supports efficient control. Utilize a 74HC595 or dedicate just 8 microcontroller pins to manage the anodes at approximately 15mA each. NPN transistors or a TPIC6B595 can sink up to 120mA per digit for optimal performance.

Available in bright red, along with yellow and green, these displays ensure vibrant, eye-catching visuals tailored for digital readouts in varied applications.
