Adafruit PN532 NFC/RFID controller breakout board

The PN532 NFC chip is embedded in virtually every NFC-enabled device, allowing for comprehensive NFC tasks, such as reading and writing to tags and cards or facilitating phone communications, akin to a very short-range Bluetooth without the need for authentication.

This highly versatile component supports 3.3V TTL UART, I2C, or SPI communication, providing flexible integration into various projects. With its capability to read and write to tags, the chip can also be used for RFID projects, and it's compatible with NFC/RFID Type 1 through 4 tags.

Strongly supported by libnfc, the PN532 offers seamless connectivity through an FTDI serial port device, ensuring compatibility with Linux, Mac, and Windows systems. The breakout board includes a tuned 13.56MHz stripline antenna, 0.1" header, and a 4050 level shifter chip, making it a comprehensive solution for embedded NFC work.
