PikaBot is a DIY mobile robot kit designed for educational purposes in electronics, microcontrollers, sensors, motors, and coding. The kit is based on the Maker UNO, an Arduino Uno compatible controller, and includes a Maker Drive dual-channel motor driver. It offers line following and obstacle avoidance functionalities through infrared sensors and an ultrasonic distance sensor.
Features:
Easy Assembly for All Ages: The kit requires no soldering and is assembled using jumper wires. A detailed schematic diagram and mounting locations are printed inside the box for straightforward assembly.
Programming Options: PikaBot can be programmed using the Arduino IDE or the mBlock block-based programming interface. Sample codes for line following and obstacle avoidance are available on GitHub.
Comprehensive Guide Included: A step-by-step guide booklet is included, covering all the hands-on lessons needed to get started. Each step is clearly explained with images.
