Walabot Starter

The Walabot Starter is a compact, programmable sensor tool that uses radio frequency technology to perceive its surroundings. It comes equipped with a three-antenna array that illuminates the area in front of it and senses the returning signals. These signals are produced and recorded by the VYYR2401 A3 System-on-Chip integrated circuit and communicated to a host device (like your phone or computer) through a USB interface implemented with a Cypress controller.

The Walabot Starter is capable of analyzing and reconstructing a two-dimensional image of the environment through broadband recordings from multiple transmit/receive antenna pairs. This feature allows for the detection of changes in the environment. The Starter version is also capable of basic range measurements and breathing pattern detection. It comes with a micro-B to micro-B USB cable.

The Walabot Starter operates within a frequency range of 6.3-8GHz. It uses an array of linearly polarized broadband antennas, making it a three-dimensional radio frequency-based sensor. It also includes a Radar API and a Breathing API, providing range measurement and motion detection capabilities.
