Adafruit Number LED Filament - Warm White "7"

This warm-white glowy number features COB LEDs, commonly found in 'Edison-like' LED bulbs, designed to deliver a bright, warm glow. Made of numerous micro LED diodes bonded on a sturdy metal backing and coated with silicone, these LEDs ensure durability and protection.

Despite placement on one side, the thin PCB substrate allows light to glow dimly from the back. A 3V power source is sufficient thanks to LEDs in parallel, although a current-limiting resistor for max 100mA is advisable. Non-flexible, these lights offer a uniform glow, perfectly emulating a tungsten-like filament.

Lightweight and versatile, they can be glued to surfaces, sewn to fabrics, or tied with fishing line. As a ‘big long LED’, PWM dimming is conveniently possible. Simply connect to both ends with 3V, ensuring the cathode negative side is identified by a '-' symbol. If the light doesn't activate, reverse the connection.
