Adafruit NeoPixel Ring - 16 x 5050 RGBW LEDs w/ Integrated Drivers

The integrated driver chip inside each LED ensures consistent color with an ~18mA constant current, and the 5VDC power supply simplifies setup.

The NeoPixel LEDs combine RGB and white LEDs with yellow phosphor for pure and warm white lighting. With 8-bit PWM control per channel, the result is a dazzling 32-bit color. Though these LEDs operate at a ~400 Hz PWM rate, compare them to DotStars with a smoother 20 KHz rate for motion-intensive applications.
