Adafruit NeoKey FeatherWing - Two Mechanical Key Switches with NeoPixels

The Adafruit NeoKey FeatherWing provides the ideal platform for a versatile macro keypad. Easily convert any Feather main board into a functional dash with two Cherry MX compatible switches.

Equipped with Kailh sockets, this FeatherWing allows for simple switch customization without soldering, using a dab of hot glue or epoxy to secure them. Each switch is paired with a reverse-mount NeoPixel, delivering a display of vibrant colors, controlled via a 2-pixel NeoPixel strand.

The FeatherWing includes strategically placed jumper pads for rewiring switches and LED strands. Switch A connects to transistor pin D5, while Switch B links to pin D6. The NeoPixel input is accessed through pin D9. This design fits effortlessly with any Feather board, thanks to its clear wiring setup.

An added bonus is the included STEMMA QT connector for hassle-free solderless connections to a wide range of sensors and accessories. The package includes a pre-assembled FeatherWing PCB and break-off headers—just add your preferred MX-compatible switches and keycaps to complete the setup.
