Adafruit LED Magician

If you'd like to get some LEDs or analog strips blinking for your costume, prop, or project but don't want to do any programming, try the LED Magician. This device is like a pre-programmed Arduino with built-in effects for driving LEDs. Note: it doesn't work with 'smart' LEDs such as NeoPixels, DotStars, or other digital addressable LEDs.

The LED Magician is perfect for driving 'bare' LEDs or analog LED strips. With a tiny form factor, it is ideal for LED installations in costumes, stage props, RC toys, robotics, or even lighting mods for vehicles. This product adds diverse blinking, fading, and chasing sequences to your LED lights, working with 4.5v - 28v lighting and supporting up to 500mA output per channel.

Features include 12 output channels, 32 pre-programmed lighting modes, and eight adjustable speeds, all controllable via four onboard buttons. The device has 12 indicator LEDs showing previews of current sequences and a microchip that retains settings even after power-offs.
