GPS Receiver - EM-506 (48 Channel)

The EM-506 GPS receiver is a product of USGlobalSat, crafted with the remarkable SiRF StarIII chipset. This all-inclusive module is based on the ET-301's technology, but with additional features such as on-board voltage regulation, LED status indicator, battery backed RAM, and an in-built patch antenna. A 6-pin interface cable is also included in the package.

The EM-506 GPS module is powered by the SiRF Star IV, enhancing its sensitivity and performance in dense urban and foliage environments. The SiRF CGEE (Client Generated Extended Ephemeris) technology enables it to predict satellite positions for up to 3 days, providing CGEE-start times of less than 15 seconds under most conditions, without any network assistance.
