GNSS Multi-Band L1/L2 Helical Antenna (SMA) BT-560

The BT-560 GNSS Multi-Band L1/L2 Helical Antenna (SMA) is a compact, lightweight antenna designed to receive signals from GPS, GLONASS, Galileo, and BeiDou constellations. Weighing only 15.9 grams, it is equipped with a standard SMA connector and a small compressible o-ring at the base for enhanced weatherproofing. This antenna is particularly useful in applications where there is an unobstructed view of the sky.

The BT-560 antenna is specifically designed to pair with the latest u-blox F9 platform, providing a fast, reliable multi-band antenna solution. However, it can also be used with any GPS/GNSS receiver that can utilize the L1/L2 dual reception. Despite its high performance, it's important to note that this antenna will not upgrade a low-cost receiver into a high-end one. It is therefore advisable to check whether your receiver can accommodate the L1 and L2 signals that this antenna emits.

Upon disassembling a unit, it was discovered that the antenna employs a flexible dual helical design and incorporates three HC1400P03S hybrid couplers. Each antenna also has a unique QR code, which is its serial number composed of the manufacturing date and unit build number.
