The FlexiForce Pressure Sensor - 1lb is a piezoresistive force sensor by Tekscan that changes its resistance based on the amount of pressure applied. The sensor's resistance decreases as the pressure increases, starting from infinite resistance at no pressure and dropping to approximately 300k when pressed lightly. The sensor is thin and flexible, but it's important to note that flexing does not affect the resistance; only pressure applied to the round area at the end of the sensor will cause a change. This makes it ideal for use as a presence sensor, weight sensor, or pressure sensor for impact testing.

The sensor measures approximately 21.59cm in length and comes with a reinforced connector that is spaced at 2.54mm intervals, making it compatible with breadboards. This design enhances its versatility and ease of use in various applications.
