FlexiForce Pressure Sensor - 100lbs.

The Sparkfun FlexiForce Pressure Sensor - 100lbs is a piezoresistive force sensor from Tekscan that offers a dynamic range of pressure sensing. The sensor's resistance decreases as pressure increases, with a resistance change from infinite to approximately 300k when pressed hard. This thin and flexible sensor's resistance remains unchanged during flexing, with resistance changes only occurring when pressure is applied to its round end. This sensor can be utilised as a presence sensor, weight sensor, or pressure sensor for impact testing.

The FlexiForce Pressure Sensor has an overall length of approximately 21.59 cm. It is equipped with a reinforced connector spaced at 2.54mm intervals, making it compatible with breadboards.

This sensor is available in three different versions. The version described here can measure pressures ranging from 0 to 100lbs in the mega-ohm range.
